The polka dots have a velvety texture. I followed the directions on the how to measure video and ordered according to the size chart. The dress fits perfectly and has a very retro feel. However, I am 5’9” and think this dress would overwhelm someone who is petite.

I wore this in a prom where I was a principal sponsor and I had compliments from everyone present. It was a prom that was attended by 400 people.
